You can track your progress on our tracker and compete with others in both distance cycled and money raised through our leaderboards.

With Time to Tour you can take part whenever suits you throughout July. At home before breakfast, over a weekend or even on holiday – the choice is yours!

We are encouraging everyone taking part to try to raise £100 for Parkinson’s UK. All the money raised will support our brand new exercise programme, which aims to inspire, motivate and inform the Parkinson’s community about the value of exercise.

About Parkinson's UK

Parkinson’s UK is the UK’s leading Parkinson’s research and support charity. We drive better care, treatments and quality of life. Because we’re here no one has to face Parkinson’s alone.

Every hour, two people in the UK are told they have Parkinson’s. Our work is totally dependent on donations and your support will help our work to improve the lives of everyone affected by Parkinson’s.

Where will your money go?

All of the money raised from Time to Tour will support our brand new exercise programme, which aims to inspire, motivate and inform the Parkinson’s community about the value of exercise.

Exercise is especially good for people with Parkinson’s – here’s what we know:

  • Doing 2.5 hours of exercise a week can slow the progression of symptoms.
  • Exercise not only helps to manage physical symptoms but also sleep problems, mood and mental health.
  • Exercise can be as important as medication to help people with Parkinson’s take control and manage their symptoms.

The money you raise during your challenge will help us change attitudes about exercise for people with Parkinson’s, and provide more opportunities for people to take part in exercise.
